A middle name

Yesterday we officially decided on a middle name for our little Abigail. Are you ready? :-)

Abigail Courage Favelo.

We know it is a little bit "out there", and may give you flash backs to the 60's, but as we were trying to decide (between Courage or Christine) Doug brought up a great point; he said that you hardly ever use your middle name anyways so might as well get some mileage out of it and have a story to tell about it when you do use it. So, Abigail Courage it is.

We have told a few people and gotten comments from "Oh, interesting..." to "That's perfect!" Either way, it is growing on us too, and we are coming to love it. Already it seems that she couldn't be anyone else but Abigail.

She has been so strong and courageous in her short little life already, and God has been with her all of the way. So her theme verse for the beggining of her life is Joshua 1:9 "Be strong and courageous! Do not tremble or be dismayed, for the Lord your God is with you wherever you go."

Love you all,
Heather

I posted a comment but when it asked me to choose an identity, etc. it must have lost it. I will try to duplicate it, but don't know if it will come through later.

I absolutely love her name. Abigail is so beautiful and to be punctuated by Courage is grand!

Abigail's verse is one that Shanti memorized and depended upon when she was afraid when she was little. I remember Kendra memorizing it when she was pretty little and being so proud.

There is a real connection for us with her name, her verse and with your family...we go 'way back'.

We continue to pray for your rapid healing and for you all to be together real, real soon!!!

God's best,
Deanna

Just found out last night about her birth with Grace forwarding Luelle's update. Even without knowing much we are praying including our ladies Bible study. Then today Grace sent more updates including this link.

Great idea to help keep all of us interested people informed without you having to contact everyone.

She looks beautiful and I love the bow. And both her first and middle names are great.

I think I told you that friends named their little girl Reason as a first name.

Praying that she can soon be closer and that she continues to improve.

I just wanted to add a little comment about her name. I understand about people giving that 'look' when it comes to names, but we still named our boys what we felt was perfect for them, and I'm glad you did too. It's a GREAT NAME!!
